    Collaborative online tasks and their relationship to the world of work

    Working in large and small groups, participants will explore real management risk situations in compressed time as Dr. Nixon’s students do in her online courses. 


    Mary Anne Nixon (nixon@email.wcu.edu) is Professor of Project Management in the College of Business. In 2007, she was the inaugural winner of the Jay M. Robinson University Award for eTeaching. Dr. Nixon was among the first faculty members at WCU and throughout the UNC system to design and teach in a totally online graduate program. She joined the WCU faculty in 1983 and was awarded the Chancellor’s Distinguished Teaching award in 1989.
