Tactics and strategies that
promote authentic student interaction and engagement with peers and content
will be explored .
Tracy Zontek (tzontek@email.wcu.edu) is an Assistant
Professor at Western Carolina University in the Environmental Health program.
She completed her Ph.D. at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, where she
specialized in educational administration. She has developed and taught
undergraduate classes in both hybrid and completely online formats, as well as
having participated in online courses as a student.
